The Greek Ministry of Fi-
nance published a
list with the names of 4,152 per-
sons, who owe the
state a total amount
of 14 billion 877 mil-
lion euros. Among them are
large entrepreneurs,
athletes, singers and
public and non-
public figures suspected of
tax evasion because they
have not paid their tax
obligations to the state. According to
the list, http://www.gsis.
gr/debtors/fp.html, the biggest
debtor is a person, Nikola Kasima-
tis, with a total obligation of 952
million euros.
If you look at the names on the list
of Greece’s biggest debtors,
a considerable number of Albanians also stands out,
who seem to have contributed
to “sinking” Greece even deeper into
the economic crisis. There are
at least 64 Albanians who owe the Greek state
a total sum of 38 million 263 thousand
