Debtors: police arrest the editor of the newspaper “Elefterotipia” in Athens BY ANILA JOLE The Greek Ministry of Fi- nance published a list with the names of 4,152 per- sons, who owe the state a total amount of 14 billion 877 mil- lion euros. Among them are large entrepreneurs, athletes, singers and public and non- public figures suspected of tax evasion because they have not paid their tax obligations to the state. According to the list, http://www.gsis. gr/debtors/fp.html, the biggest debtor is a person, Nikola Kasima- tis, with a total obligation of 952 million euros. If you look at the names on the list of Greece’s biggest debtors, a considerable number of Albanians also stands out, who seem to have contributed to “sinking” Greece even deeper into the economic crisis.
