Lawsuit: They caused harm to my child’s health By THIMI SAMARXHIU The Tirana Court overturns the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and reinstates Selvi Beçaj, the daughter of the President of the Supreme Court, Shpresa Beçaj. The decision was made yesterday at noon by Judge Elda Vrioni, who for about a month had been hearing the lawsuit filed by Beçaj against the Ministry of Foreign Affairs over her dismissal from the post of First Secretary at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Albania to the OSCE, Vienna. Selvi Beçaj had been dismissed from this post by an order dated 24.01.2012, since according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she had been absent from her duties for a long time. However, she explained her absence by saying that just two weeks earlier she had given birth to her daughter and, due to her health condition, she had not been able to return to duty on time.
