Albania will be “locked down” at the end of this month because of the start of the Olympic Games in London. The State Police has drawn up the situation plan, under which mainly the diplomatic representations in the country will be placed under “siege,” and there will also be strict checks at “Nënë Tereza” International Airport, mainly for people traveling to Great Britain, as well as to other European countries. Such a plan has been drawn up because of the potential risk of terrorist acts in London during the Olympics, as well as in other states that have signed the strategy and are part of the Anti-terrorism Coalition, including our country.
