The Health Care Insurance Institute has approved a salary increase for 9,300 doctors and nurses at health centers throughout the country. The increase will range from 2 to 5 percent depending on the different categories, while this decision will begin to be taken into account from 15 July. According to the decision, the highest increase is envisaged for doctors covering the central areas of Këlcyrë; their salary, from the current 52,835 lekë, becomes 55,335 lekë. For doctors covering hilly areas, the salary rises from 63,335 lekë to 65,335 lekë, while for doctors in mountainous areas, whose salary was 81,835, it becomes 83,335 new lekë. Thus, a doctor in the central area covering 2,000 inhabitants, with seniority...
