The government has revised the amounts of money that will be taken from the state budget to be used in the property return-compensation process. In the latest document on the economic and fiscal framework for the 2013-2015 period, the Council of Ministers notes that it will use from the state budget over these four years a sum of 5.7 billion lek, approximately 57 million dollars, in the form of a monetary fund for the return-compensation of those expropriated. Specifically, the state budget will allocate for this purpose 1.8 billion lek in 2012, 1.3 billion in 2013, 1.3 billion in 2014, and 1.3 billion in 2015. Just a few months ago, in the long-term strategy for property reform, they had forecast for 2012 1.5 billion lek; for 2013, 1.1 billion lek; for 2014, 1 billion lek; 900 million lek for 2015
