Although he died at the age of 21, he left deep traces in people’s minds, because of his activity. Qemal Stafa was killed on 5 May 1942, in the city of Tirana. He was one of the leaders of the Communist Party and had also taken part in its founding meeting. During the last years of his life, he became a promoter of all the movements of the Albanian forces against the occupiers, being a central figure among the youth of that time.
