Ahmet Zogu was equally afraid of it while alive. Ironically, he and Berisha both avoided Vlora. The king, almost self-proclaimed of the Albanians, nevertheless took a great act in 1932, when he brought the remains of Ismail Qemali to rest in Vlora.
