Dissent is being stifled By GILMANA BUSHATI Spartak Poçi, a member of the Socialist Party and former leader of the party in Tirana, as well as former Minister of the Interior, in an interview given yesterday to “Gazeta Shqiptare” analyzes the political path of his own party and its latest Congress. He also responds to the accusation made against him by the PS leader, Edi Rama, who in the book “Kurban” states, among other things, that “the building of the former Ministry of the Interior Club, another architectural gem covered by the happy dust of the years, on which Spartak Poçi, a socialist minister who supposedly took down forty gangs, raised on the facade of the building from the Italian era, as if it were a Kamëz field in the early hours, without a project or even the minimum of care in construction, a one-story brick addition, without a permit and to this very day left unplastered”. Regarding this accusation Poçi states that he had ensured the completion of that addition, which he admits is ugly; but on the other hand he states that Rama, both as minister and as mayor for many years...
