Obama is moved to tears in front of the cameras By ADELAJDA XHAMANI “I was terrified, I survived by a miracle, I hid in a small room inside the school.” This is the account of 9-year-old Venesa Bajraliu, told through her brother to “GSH,” about yesterday’s massacre in the US in which 20 children were killed. Twenty-eight people lost their lives in an elementary school in Connecticut after a 24-year-old opened fire in bursts on the school’s students, where his mother (also a victim) taught. Mërgim Bajraliu is 17 years old and is a student at that same school. At the moment of the rampage he was at home with his mother, a few meters from the school. After hearing the gunshots, they immediately ran to his sister, 9-year-old Venesa. “I was among the first people to get there, even though the shots were still continuing.
