Somewhere near the house we meet a woman around 55 years old who is ready to show us the house as well. “I know Klodi, she lives near me,” says the woman. “They are very good people, Klodi is a very good woman, but sometimes fate... since this happened they have put her to work, at the Housing Agency I think. She also has two children and, to be honest, it is hard for them...,” says the neighbor, shrugging her shoulders. The house is on the first floor of an old apartment block, in a neighborhood near the center of Tirana. We knock and behind the door we hear the voice of a child asking who it is. Then the door opens and behind it stands the wife of the accused and one of his children (about seven years old), who is holding on to his mother’s leg. She is a woman around 40 years old....
