Charge: Fraud with serious consequences The Prosecutor’s Office is seeking to return the imam Artan Kristo to custody; he was recently accused of “public calls and propaganda for the commission of criminal acts for terrorist purposes”. Through a request filed with the Supreme Court, the Durrës Prosecutor’s Office requested the imposition of the personal security measure of “arrest in prison” for the person under investigation, Artan Kristo. Meanwhile, sources from the Prosecutor’s Office in the coastal city told “Gazeta Shqiptare” that Kristo’s request in question is linked to the court case currently underway at the Durrës Court, where Artan Kristo is accused of the criminal offense of “fraud with serious consequences”. The Durrës District Court is conducting the trial against Artan Kristo for the criminal offense of “fraud”.
