Three members of a family were found dead last night in the courtyard of their home. Official sources from the Lezhë Regional Police Directorate report that the incident, in which the head of the household Rrok Shtjefni, 57, his wife Mira Shtjefni, 55, and their 24-year-old son Fatjon Shtjefni were killed by a burst of automatic fire, took place in the village of Blinisht in this district. After the preliminary investigation, it is suspected that the victims were executed by their fellow villager, Kastriot Zhuba, who has been declared wanted. It is learned that the perpetrator of the crime (the son of the uncle of the head of the commune of Blinisht) has a criminal record, and work is under way to arrest him.
