In a nearly one-hour discussion behind closed doors, members of the National Assembly proposed changes to the drafts presented. One of the proposals that sparked debate was that of Erjon Braçe, who asked that at this stage the PS at the district level needs the creation of the party presidency, a forum that would serve better and would be able to make clearer decisions. However, this was opposed by Bashkim Fino, who described as meaningless the creation of this structure, at a time when in every party branch in the district the district Assembly functions perfectly well, a structure defined by statute. In favor of Braçe’s proposal was Pandeli Majko, for whom this would be a solution, at a time when MPs are very busy and cover much larger areas... Continues on pages 2-3
