Jemin Gjana knows closely all the twists and turns of the PD over its 21 years of existence. Having been a protagonist of these internal developments, Gjana has seen how different individuals left the party when they did not find the power they wanted, or “others who repented and found shelter again in the old house.” Therefore, Jemin Gjana was not surprised by the news that a new party would be created by former Democratic deputy chairman Bamir Topi as soon as he ends his presidential term. The former Minister of Agriculture, now a member of parliament, a member of the PD presidency and head of the parliamentary committee on Production Activities, says in this interview with “Gazeta Shqiptare” that according to him voters from the left, not from the PD, will gather around Topi’s party.
