Dissent is being suffocated By GILMANA BUSHATI Spartak Poçi, a member of the Socialist Party, former MP for Tirana for this party, and also former Interior Minister, in an interview given yesterday to “Gazeta Shqiptare” analyzes the political path of his own party and its latest Congress. He also responds to the accusation made against him by the PS leader, Edi Rama, who in the book “Kurban” states, among other things, that “the building of the former Ministry of Interior Club, another architectural gem covered in the dust of the mud of the years, on which Spartak Poçi, a Socialist minister who almost destroyed forty gangs, raised on the façade of the building from the Italian era, as if in the field of Kamez on the first days, without a project or even the minimum care in construction, a one-storey brick addition, without a permit to this day without plaster[?]”. Regarding this accusation, Poçi claims that he found that addition already completed, and he admits that it is ugly; but on the other hand he states that Rama, both as minister and as mayor for many years...
