How did the law of war,
which Greece still formally
keeps in force against
Albania, come into being?
Why do many experts in
international law call the
law “absurd,” and how is it
used by certain Greek
circles to the detriment of
Albania? Prof.
Dr. Rëshenon Krisafi, taking
as a starting point the book
by Prof. Arben Puto,
“Italo-Greek War,
dictators and quislings”,
gives us the panorama of
the law, from 1940 to the
present day, and “its
anomalies”. But he does
not stop there. Without
leaving out of sight the
Greek claims to Vorio-Epirus,
or the pressures of the
Albanian passports for
population registration,
he speaks of inflated figures
and the Hellenization of the
south. Major criticisms are
directed at the neighboring
government, because of its
silence in the face of the
warmongering statements of
Ikonomus... Recently, the
book by Prof. Arben Puto
with the title “Italo-Greek
War, dictators and
quislings” came out in print.
