Erjon Braçe in Tirana or at risk of being left out With 5 days still remaining until the final deadline for the CEC to formalize the parliamentary candidates, the names of the new MPs continue to circulate and be discussed within the grassroots of the country’s main parties. Thus, “Gazeta Shqiptare” has gathered some of the names being mentioned in the circles of Berat, Elbasan and Shkodër for the PD, PS and LSI. Socialist leader Edi Rama continues to consult with the heads of the lists in all 12 districts, but meanwhile voices claim that the list of current MPs is expected to undergo quite a few changes. In Elbasan, it seems that the top spot on the list has already been confirmed and decided. It will be held by Ben Blushi, one of the most prominent names among the Socialists. Ilir Bejtja and Skënder Hasa are likely to be removed from the list. Meanwhile, the deputy speaker of Parliament, Namik Dokle, is said to be facing two decisions: to run as a candidate in Tirana or become ambassador to France.
