Some time ago, members of the Alb-Shkenca internet organization discussed the idea that the father and grandfather of the late Ibrahim Rugova had been executed by the communists in Kosovo because they were members of Balli Kombëtar. Likewise, as such, they were supposedly collaborators with the Nazis during the Second World War. Where this debate was fueled from is a mystery to me. Because the debate arose when people from all over the world were honoring the man, the individual Ibrahim Rugova, as a true Albanian leader, who, by peaceful means, firmly sought the liberation of Kosovo from the Serbian yoke.
