The government expropriates owners of buildings on the Vlora coast, they will receive 56 thousand lek per m2 By LORENC RABETA The 300 million lek financial compensation fund (around 3 million dollars) for former owners will be distributed by 20 December. According to the Property Restitution and Compensation Agency, the review of 1,100 applications has already been completed, while in the coming days the list of owners who will benefit from this fund will also be made public. The problem is that this amount is very low compared with the number of former owners waiting to be compensated financially. While the number of applicants each year has been around 1,500 people, only 30-40 owners will be able to benefit from financial compensation from the limited 300 million lek fund. Applications to benefit from this fund were submitted to the AKKP during the month of August. Through a decision, the Council of Ministers has also set the conditions that interested parties must meet in order to benefit from this fund.
