There can be no religious harmony when people of other faiths attack the Orthodox Church.” Thus declared during the last Mass held in the “Ringjallja” church, the Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and all Albania, Anastas Janullatos. According to the archbishop, there is a long list of names of those who attack the Church, using a wide variety of methods. During the years of great persecution there was a specific method, intended to make it degrading and to ‘direct people to live outside the church. It was the attempt to portray the beneficiaries as immoral people, or as non-patriots, as were those who in reality destroyed Albania and brought it to the bottom of Europe in many respects.
