Prosecutor to Topi: Reinstateme in office
THE SUPREME COURT SAID TOM DEDAJ’S DISMISSAL WAS ILLEGAL
The General Prosecutor’s Office found Dedaj in violation and proposed his dismissal.
The Supreme Court overturned Topi’s decree and ordered his reinstatement
Prosecutor Tom Dedaj,
who has been going from
the doors of the highest
state institutions in search
of justice, says that he will
not stop until he finds it,
and even warns that he will
take extreme and radical
actions.
Dedaj demands that the
President of the Republic
and the General Prosecutor
Ina Rama reinstate him in
office, thus respecting the
decision of the Supreme
Court. In an open letter
addressed to the highest
leaders of the state and of
the justice institutions,
as well as to the diplomatic
representatives accredited
in Tirana, Dedaj says that
“if the decision of the
Supreme Court is not
to be implemented, I will
escalate the pressure by
moving on to more
extreme and radical,
democratic stages up to a
hunger strike in front of the
office of the President of
the Republic or of the
General Prosecutor”.
