The PD is preparing its structures nationwide for an intensive electoral campaign that will take it toward a third term in government on 23 June.
After the LSI’s departure from the government, Prime Minister Sali Berisha yesterday afternoon gathered the PD structures of the Tirana district to organize the electoral campaign, for which he demanded total commitment to secure a result that would lead the PD to victory.
During the closed-door meeting, Berisha is said to have instructed the work groups to knock on every door, day and night, at every citizen’s home without party distinctions, and to ask for their votes for 23 June.
Berisha is said to have said that they should be presented with the government’s reforms and the progress achieved over the 4 years now behind us, while pointing out that the PD is heading toward a broad alliance as a guarantee of victory.
Berisha has made it clear that the LSI’s departure should not be felt...
