For this purpose, the fund of 588 million lek (approximately 6 million dollars) will be used, and it will be made available to the owners in eight counties of the country. Through a decision, the Council of Ministers has determined that this fund will be used to compensate a total area of 44.9 thousand square meters occupied by illegal construction. “The Council of Ministers decided to compensate owners for the areas of private immovable property, private property, occupied by informal construction in Shkodër, Vlorë, Durrës, Tiranë, Korçë, Berat, Kukës and Elbasan.
