Majko: They should be ashamed, the decision was dictated by Berisha By KLODIANA LALA The American ambassador in Albania, Alexander Arvizu, whom the Tirana Court accused of interference in the affairs of the Albanian judiciary, appears to be unwavering in his stance following the ruling of acquit- tal for the three accused in the “21 January” file, a decision he described as shocking. After a face-to-face meeting with the head of the prosecu- tion body, Adriatik Llalla, the senior American diplomat, after confirming the support of the United States of America for the investigative institu- tion, stressed that he stands by the same statement he made after the decision was announced. As for yesterday’s verdict and the “21 January” case, once again I would refer you to see our statement, but I would add a few points. First, after that terrible day of 21 January, the United States made it very clear that the best way to deal with that terrible tragedy was an inves- tigation into what caused it...
