Memories of the December 1990 Movements brought together yesterday Prime Minister Edi Rama and PDIU leader Shpëtim Idrizi. Both were invited to the event organized by the Student Movement of December ’90, at Hotel Tirana. At the end of the event Rama invited Idrizi for a coffee, while nothing was made public about their one-on-one conversation, in the hotel’s third-floor bar. Contacted by “Gazeta Shqiptare” regarding the topic of the conversation, the head of the PDIU did not wish to provide any comment. At the event organized on the occasion of 8 December, Youth Day, Idrizi’s softened tones were clearly visible, as he sat next to Rama while Democratic MP Mesila Doda asked for distancing from the figure of Enver Hoxha.
