IMF: Public debt, the highest in the Balkan region By LORENC RABETA While accusations by the Socialist Party continued yesterday regarding the prolonged delay in December wages for public administration employees, Finance Minister Ridvan Bode replied that more than 90% had been paid and that only those institutions which had not submitted their payroll lists on time were facing this problem. During yesterday’s interview with the press, the head of Finance clarified that anyone could personally consult the payment situation on the Ministry’s official website, while mocking the accusation that the delay was due to lack of funds, saying that only those institutions were delayed because their New Year’s drink had been late to “come out.” You can check the ministry’s website.
