Young men in black T-shirts reading “Hrisi Avgi” (“Golden Dawn”) filled the cemetery of Himarë while the priest of the church of Saint Spyridon was taken out because he refused to carry out the demanded rites. Meanwhile, the media was attacked by members of “Golden Dawn”, while the police remained neutral and did not get involved in calming the heated situation. The commemorative ceremony began at the church of Himarë-Fshat, where the Greek extremists forced out the priest, who refused to submit to their orders, and was then moved to the cemetery where the deceased rests. After the anthem and the Greek flags, speeches were given by Guma’s relatives and by delegates from “Hrisi Avgi”, who called for unity. Continues on page 4
