Meta: The PD-LSI alliance worked better than I thought By VALENTINA MADANI Last night the Assembly approved the candidacy of the Deputy Minister of Defense, Zana Xhuka, as the chairwoman of the High Inspectorate for Declaration and Asset Control. In the first session of the new parliamentary session, Parliament approved with 70 votes in favor and 67 against, Zana Xhuka at the head of ILDKP. Earlier, at the meeting of the PD parliamentary group, without the presence of the media, Prime Minister Berisha asked the deputies to vote unanimously for the candidacy of Ms. Xhuka, whom he described as fully qualified and professional. But the deputies of the Movement for Social Integration voted against Xhuka. One of the LSI deputies, Mr. Nasip Naço, declared in a statement to “Gazeta Shqiptare” that the negative vote had to do with the fact that Ms. Xhuka did not meet the legal criteria, while he openly says that LSI supported the other candidate, Mr. Ganaj. ...
