Official parliamentary sources told NEWS 24 that in the conference of chairpersons, on the proposal of Gramoz Ruçi, head of the socialist group, the parties agreed by consensus that this request would be voted on in the next plenary session. The US Embassy in Tirana warned in a press statement yesterday that it welcomed the Assembly's decision to postpone the vote on changing the members of the CEC. “We encourage political parties to use this time for constructive discussions and broad consultations.
