The Ministry of the Interior assured Albanian citizens yesterday that no one can vote twice on 23 June. Deputy Interior Minister Ferdinand Poni explained that the extract of the election list complies with the criteria set by the election law. "The final voter list, dated 13.05.2013, has been generated at each local government unit for printing. The final voter list contains 3,270,936 active voters, while 5,506 polling stations are posted at the polling centers in each local government unit. In the final voter list there is no polling station, except those allowed by law, that falls outside the numerical limits. As for duplicates: On 12.12.2012, 7,674 records suspected of being duplicates were sent to the civil registry offices for verification.
