He was on file with the police, wanted for trafficking narcotics By KLODIANA HAXHIAJ A 33-year-old man from Durrës was executed yesterday afternoon in a mafia-style attack in the area of Mali i Robit. Ervis Tafaruçi was traveling in his “Audi” car with license plate AA 933 GE from Durrës toward Kavajë when he was sprayed with automatic gunfire by two people moving in an SUV. The victim managed to drive 200 meters through the hail of bullets and then was left dead. Official sources from the public order ministry report that the 33-year-old, originally from Shijak and residing in Durrës, had a criminal record and was wanted by Interpol for drug trafficking. After preliminary investigative actions were carried out, it is suspected that Tafaruçi may have been executed over a dispute in drug deals.
