For this purpose, a fund of 588 million lekë (approximately 6 million dollars) will be used, which will be made available to owners in eight counties of the country. Through a decision, the Council of Ministers has determined that this fund will be used to compensate a total area of 44.9 thousand square meters occupied by unauthorized constructions. The Council of Ministers decided to compensate the owners for the areas of private land, private property, occupied by informal constructions in Shkodër, Vlorë, Durrës, Tiranë, Korçë, Berat, Kukës and Elbasan.
