The international investigation involved 2.5 million files published by “Guardian”.
The mysterious Albanian companies have foreign directors; 3 were founded in one day

They have more or less similar profiles, the 5 Albanian companies registered in tax havens, published among 100,000 secret companies created around the world, in what is being presented as one of the biggest tax evasion scandals. They even bear very similar names: “ALBANIA GROUP TRADING LIMITED”, “ALBANIA SERVICES LIMITED”, “ALBANIA GROUP HOLDING LIMITED”, “ALBANIA INTERNATIONAL LTD.” and “Albania Services Ltd”. All five are registered in the British Virgin Islands, and 3 of them on the same date (18 April 2000), while 14 January 2003 is given for another, whereas the date of incorporation is missing for the fifth. The data are online and this concerns more than 2.5 million files, partially published by the prestigious “The Guardian” after an investigation carried out by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.
