Investigators: The suspected cocaine amounted to 28 kg and heroin, 138 kg By KLODIANA LALA An officer of the State Police and four other people will answer before justice for the charge of drug trafficking. The prosecution has completed the investigation and has submitted the criminal file against them to the Serious Crimes Court. Ilir Shehaj, Anori Cani, Gentjan Gjoka, Everest Hoxholli, Mandrit Dulo. The prosecution file states that the police employee, Anori Cani, took the drugs from Ilir Shehaj and distributed them, but before the authorities he claimed that he was a user and not a distributor of cocaine and heroin. However, Ilir Shehaj, who is also considered the “boss” of the group, told investigators that the drugs were his and had been brought from Turkey by a Kosovar named Ramë, and that Anori Cani, being a police officer, was needed for the distribution of the goods.
