This time, the winner was the Republican Party, with can- didate Roland Bejko, who in a statement to “Gazeta Shqiptare” yesterday also listed the reasons for this triumph. “The first reason is that I am a boy from Lazarat and that for a long time I have been a local leader of PD. The votes in my favor were personal votes that I secured, even because I fought hard for the return of property to its owner. The conservative elements of the right were with me.
