F.G., one of the officers of the surveillance unit, against whom the defendant Dajti has pointed the finger, describing him as the killer of Saimir Duckollari, has told investigators everything that happened on 7 August 2009 at the place known as the “Iliria” track, where the police operation to catch the most wanted man turned into a bloody battlefield. Questioned by the prosecutor of Serious Crimes, Henrik Ligori, the police officer tells in full detail the whole tragic story, from the moment they called him to take part in the operation, the journey to Durrës with Saimir Duckollari, who unfortunately would never return alive.
