By VALENTINA MADANI The deputy and member of the presidency of the Democratic Party, Edi Paloka, considers the race for the leadership of the PD completely transparent, held on the basis of established democratic rules. Paloka tells “Gazeta Shqiptare” that there is an attempt to smear this process, while recalling that the rules were accepted by everyone. He rejects the claims of the PD vice-chairman, Astrit Patozi, about an unrealistic race, while criticizing him for smearing the process in the PD. According to Paloka, this smearing is done for subjective reasons, while noting that Astrit Patozi and Sokol Olldashi are close friends. Paloka expressed confidence that the democrats, led by Mr. Basha, will know how to unite to strengthen the PD and lead it toward major challenges.
