The College regarding the mandates By DARINA TANUSHI The US Embassy in Tirana yesterday expressed its appreciation for the new ministers of the “Rama” government cabinet. In a statement, the embassy says: “It welcomes the newly selected ministers of the Alliance for a European Albania cabinet and commends the appointment of a larger number of ministers and their proposed assignment to key ministries.” “The inclusion of women ministers reflects a positive step toward greater gender equality within Albania’s political leadership,” says the latest message from the US embassy in Tirana. Further on in its reaction, the US embassy “looks forward to working with the future Council of Ministers, many of whom have had professional and educational experience in the United States, in implementing and advancing reforms, to increase the well-being of the people and of Albania for full Euro-Atlantic integration.” “We also look forward to continuing close cooperation with all partners represented in the Parliament of Albania,” concludes the message from the US diplomatic mission in Tirana.
