Many of the current administration employees working at the Prime Minister’s Office risk losing their jobs because the new head of the executive, Edi Rama, will merge a number of directorates at the government headquarters. Artur Metani, a jurist by profession and former adviser to former presidents Alfred Moisiu and Bamir Topi, will head three directorates merged into one, the one that Rama has announced as the National Bureau of Investigation. The directorates to be merged are those of: strategy coordination and foreign aid coordination, which has been headed by Valbona Kuko and has 7 employees on its staff. Sources close to the Prime Minister’s Office say that the internal control and anti-corruption directorate will also be merged, which was headed until his resignation by Ivi Kaso and 7 inspectors. Likewise, the legislation and coordination directorate will also be merged
