Prime Minister Edi Rama stated yesterday in an interview with journalist Blendi Fevziu on “Opinion” that no one with abilities will be removed from work. Responding to accusations from ally Spartak Ngjela, Rama said he holds him in esteem “even when he talks nonsense.” You won the elections, while keeping the previous quotas. In fact, did Mr. Meta win the elections?
I have heard this, but the truth is different. First, in a democratic country elections are won by the leading force and the first coalition. Second, compared with the previous elections we have a significant increase in support, which means votes. Third, our difference with the main opposing party has widened several times over and, finally, what settles this argument is that the Albanian Socialist Party produced, on 23 June, its best result in history.
You do not have a single extra MP mandate and there is a party four times larger that has been in co-government with the PD?
