By ANASTAS JANULLATOS Prof. Dr. Frashëri, in his latest article (Gazeta Shqiptare, 22-23/9/2013), once again started with inaccuracies. He speaks of “the critical articles that were published during the last three years.” This is by no means about “critical articles,” but about some ill-considered pamphlets. The first three saw the light of publication in the autumn of 2010 and the other two came out more recently. Mr. Frashëri does not count them correctly. I had never given any reason and had never said a single word against Mr. Frashëri. On the contrary, I had always shown appreciation. Suddenly, on 14 September 2010, eighteen years after the hurried closing of the Archbishop's term of responsibility, he came forward publicly with a defamatory accusation. Then, in Gazeta Shqiptare, two more pamphlets followed (9-10/10/2010 and 16-17/11/2010), in which he made further slanders with a strange aggressiveness.
