By ANASTAS JANULLATOS Mr. Frashëri, in his five articles, repeatedly recycles his defamatory misinformation about the non-canonical nature of the archbishop, which forms the core of his claims. In his fifth pamphlet, he even offensively calls me an “usurper” of the archiepiscopal throne. He asks me angrily: “Where is that canonical act, sealed with gold, proving that he was elected as Archbishop by a Holy Synod of the Albanian Church? Why did he not respect the Constitution of the Albanian state, which has the mandatory requirement that the Archbishop of KOASH is considered a legitimate Archbishop when his appointment is approved by decree of the Albanian head of state, an approval that to this day has not been given by decree?” The answer is simple: First, when I took on the responsibility of rebuilding the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania from the ground up, there was no Holy Synod of Albania at all.
