Just days after the official statements by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and the joint Rama-Erdogan visit to Kosovo, two cooperation agreements are signed between the states. Thus, the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Edi Rama, approved yesterday in principle the military financial cooperation agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the government of the Republic of Turkey, and the implementation protocol of financial aid between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the government of the Republic of Turkey. The military financial cooperation agreement consists of a donation, from the Turkish side, of 2,275,000 Turkish lira, equivalent to $1,137,500, for the purchase of military materials and equipment, visits, training and personnel courses, and as a contribution to the modernization project of Kuçovë Airport.
