Some time ago, members of the online organization Alb-Shkenca discussed the idea that the father and grandfather of the late Ibrahim Rugova had been executed by the communists in Kosovo, because they were members of Balli Kombëtar. Supposedly, as such, they would have been collaborators of the Nazis during the Second World War. What motivated this debate is a mystery to me. Because the debate arose when people from all over the world were honoring the man, the individual Ibrahim Rugova, as a true Albanian leader, who by peaceful means firmly sought the liberation of Kosovo from the Serbian yoke.
