They received 66 votes in favor, 62 against and 3 abstentions respectively. The three deputies who abstained belong to the Socialist Movement for Integration, specifically Nasip Naço, deputy chairman of the Economy Commission, Vangjel Tavo, deputy speaker of Parliament, as well as the head of this party’s parliamentary group, Lefter Koka. Meanwhile the head of the LSI, Ilir Meta, was not present in the chamber. The Socialist Party’s votes against were yesterday “joined” by right-wing MP Gazmend Oketa, now departed from the PD group, as well as the lawmaker backed by the PS, Kastriot Islami.
