At a meeting he held on Monday afternoon with the group of MPs from the Vlorë district, together with the new prefect, Besnik Dervishi, Rama discussed the district’s problems. The MPs are said to have expressed concern about the employment of many of those activists or Vlorë citizens who contributed to the campaign for the 23 June elections. According to what is said to have been discussed at the meeting, “there are people who today are struggling to make ends meet and have no family member working, so those people must be considered,” the Vlorë MPs are said to have stated during a meeting of all[?]. The same sources explained that Prime Minister Rama gave instructions that “people who deserve to keep their jobs should not be dismissed, regardless of whether they were there even during the time when the PD was in power.” Continues on pages 8-9
