With the greatest interest I followed everything that happened and was said about the destruction of Syria’s chemical weapons in Albania. I followed with great interest the protests of young people - of students and pupils and their parents. But I also followed with interest the work of the Albanian Parliament, and within it also the historical political dragon-comedy of a number of Democratic Party deputies. With even greater interest I followed the attempt by Sali Berisha and his subordinate, Lulzim Basha, to manipulate the young protesters in Tirana. I was very pleased by the high awareness of the young people, who, from among themselves, excluded the two main protagonists of the compromise of Albanian democratic culture. With the greatest interest I awaited and heard the speech of the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, about the dismantling of Syria’s chemical weapons in Albania and about everything that has happened and been said in Albania and in the world...
