The Democratic Party published yesterday the list of the names of 1,189 employees who were fired. In this list, mass dismissals stand out in all institutions and central directorates across the country, ranging from high-ranking posts down to warehouse workers in various enterprises. The layoffs have also affected the supreme institutions, including the Assembly of Albania, with 64 people, followed by the list of those removed from the customs office, which reaches 171, as well as those from the portal with 135 dismissals. In the list presented yesterday afternoon to the media by the Democratic chairman, Lulzim Basha, the dismissal from the State Police of 83 employees stands out; in the Ministry of Interior, 62 other employees were laid off; in the Ministry of Agriculture, 31 people; in the Ministry of Justice, 33; in the Ministry of Finance, 50 employees were fired, etc. “Professionals were removed and clientelist supporters from the Rama–Meta nepotistic clan were hired. 1099 are the dismissed...
