Clerics of the Orthodox Church in this city are forcibly removed from the House of Culture of Përmet. The clash took place yesterday morning, between the Enforcement Office and the clerics. Enforcement carried out a decision of the Constitutional Court, handing over to the Municipality of Përmet the House of Culture, occupied 16 years earlier by the Orthodox Church. But the bailiffs encountered resistance from Orthodox priests, as well as believers who were in the church. Representatives of the Enforcement Office, supported also by private security, intervened by force, removing from the House of Culture the church icons, the bells, as well as other materials.
