Ergest Xhoxhi, Dritan Dajti’s brother-in-law, says “farewell” to the prison bars. After three years and ten months, since the day he ended up in handcuffs on the charge of “supporting the perpetrator of the crime,” Xhoxhi regained his freedom. Just a few hours after leaving prison, he recounted in an interview for “Gazeta Shqiptare” what he experienced during every minute spent in his cell. Although a long time has passed since the August 2009 event, Ergest has not forgotten a single moment of his friend who was killed, Ledion Mara.
